Coding and Scratch

Coding is a critical aspect of developing children’s problem-solving abilities and helps children to grow into thinkers and problem solvers. As with many skills, it is best to start learning coding at an early age. KE Academy’s coding classes encourage young children to learn the valuable skill of coding in a fun and education way. Coding also helps to develop children’s communication skills and inspires innovation and creativity. Our classes are tailored to inspire kids to not only consume digital media and technology, but to create it themselves.

Our classes teach students an important skill that will be extremely useful later in life. We first teach block programming using Scratch, which is a fun way of programming suited for younger kids. Kids will learn to make their own programs, plan and develop their own games, and have fun while doing it. This sets up the foundation for Python, allowing children to learn logical and computation thinking. We also teach python, helping children to become fluent in the coding language. Our classes will help children to learn how to make programs using Python independently, using their problem-solving skills to create solutions.
